*Over 480 farmers in Thanh Phuoc get “good farmer in production-business” title
Provincial Support Fund for Farmers has just made loan disbursement for a safe vegetables-growing project in Tan Uyen town’s Thanh Phuoc ward.
Accordingly, 10 members of Cay Day and Du Khanh quarters’ Farmers Association branches will get VND300million in loan to grow safe vegetables on a total area of 10,018 square meters.
When being implemented, the project will help generate jobs for 40 laborers in the ward. This is also a safe agricultural model, contributing to increasing the local farmers’ incomes.
* Thanh Phuoc ward’s Farmers Association also guided and mobilized members to effectively tap the local potentials and resources while boosting sci-tech application, shift of plant and animal structure… over the past time.
Upon the above-mentioned things, the “farmer in production and business” emulation movement in the ward reached strong development with more than 480 farmers winning the title of “good farmer in production and business”, contributing to raising the local efficiency of agricultural production, generating jobs for the local farmers and increasing their incomes.
