Since early this year, Binh Duong province has absorbed nearly VND1.5bln, including more than US$1bln from FDI enterprises at province-based industrial parks (Ips).
Of the total figure, Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park attracted more than US$542mln, increasing by 112.6% compared to the corresponding period last year and exceeding 80.5% of the yearly plan. The province’s remaining IPs lured more than US$470mln, up 34.12% compared to the corresponding period last year or 104.4% of the yearly plan.
Province-based industrial parks have so far attracted 1,398 valid FDI projects with a total registered capital of nearly US$12bln, accounting for 59.33% in the number of the province’s FDI projects and 59.4% in the amount of FDI capital flowing into the province.
