On the momentum of development, Binh Duong’s demand for human resources, especially technical workers is very great. That’s reason why Binh Duong has always paid attention to training human resources. Province-based vocational training schools have linked with enterprises in vocational training for better results.
With the policy of “Vocational training in association with employment”, Di An Vocational Junior College has always attached special importance to training skills for laborers at enterprises’ demand. So far, the school has granted the certificates of primary vocational education to 117 learners at Fibers Co., Phan Vu Production & Construction One-Member Co.Ltd., Southern Logistics Joint Stock Co.-SOLOG Song Than Depot and Transportation Joint Stock Co. and Dong An Services Co.
Nguyen Thanh Tri, Vice-principal of Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College said that the school’s quality of vocational training has been greatly appreciated by enterprises as the rate of learners having jobs after graduation has got higher and higher. Many groups at home and abroad have bravely contacted the school to register for recruiting pupils and students before graduation; welcomed pupils, students on probation and recruited them right after graduation.
On the spirit of cooperation to share mutual experience, Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College has created a close relation with many companies in the province and neighboring regions. Many vocational training courses for laborers at enterprises’ demand have also been organized at the school. In addition, the school has opened vocational training courses at enterprises, ensuring their production and business activities; linked with enterprises to offer help to learners on probation, helping them get access to the state-of-the-art equipment and technologies.
Benefiting enterprises, laborers, vocational training schools
Possibly speaking, vocational training in association with demand has benefited enterprises, laborers and vocational training facilities. Students, pupils after graduation have a right to select enterprises in line with their skills trained. They can enjoy jobs right after graduation. Enterprises also feel secure in the quality and quantity of laborers trained from vocational training schools. Upon the above way, it is easy for vocational training schools to introduce jobs to students and pupils after graduation.
Pham Viet Thang, Vice-principal of Di An Vocational Junior College said that vocational training in accordance with enterprises has brought them many practical benefits. Meanwhile, Nguyen Thanh Tri, Principal of Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College added that the school’s Department of Foreign Affairs-Applied Research has given consultancy for enterprises with labor recruitment demand and coordinated with the school’s faculties having learners who are about to graduate. Meanwhile, enterprises have mapped out plans to receive students and pupils on probation. Students and pupils are allowed to register their job information under the school’s form after probation. The school has also signed memoranda of understanding (MOU) on recruitment of laborers after graduation with enterprises…
The linkage between vocational training facilities and enterprises in vocational training is the best way. This way has benefited enterprises, vocational training facilities and laborers. Accordingly, enterprises will recruit laborers in line with their demand while students and pupils are able to take jobs right after graduation.
