Early April 25, Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received a delegation of Belgium’s Brabant Wollon province and enterprises, led by Gilles Mahieu, Chief of the province.
At the reception, Mr.Hung informed the delegation of the local socio-economic development and orientations for development, including improving the quality of growth in association with the fourth industrial revolution and building Binh Duong smart city. The province has so far absorbed 4 Belgian-funded projects with a total investment capital of US$34million. He hoped that with great potential, Belgian enterprises will further boost investment into the province in the coming time. The province will also create optimal conditions for investors from Belgium to work effectively.
For his part, Mr.Gilles Mahieu shared information and strong points of Brabant Wollon province with Mr.Hung. He said that Brabant Wollon is a place with research centers and scientists, especially strong development in terms of information technology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry…According to him, Brallant Wollon and Binh Duong have the same things while wanting that the two localities will have cooperation opportunities in the fields of making smart city development projects, solving some concerned issues on water drainage-supply, waste water treatment, environmental protection…
