The provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung and leaders of departments and agencies yesterday had a get-together with the Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, Japan Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City and reps of Japanese enterprises operating in Binh Duong province.
Japan is one of nations having the highest investment in the province with the total 167 projects worth more than US$3.1bil, accounting for one sixth of the total foreign investment capital in the province. The province-based Japanese companies show their effective operations and excellently implement Vietnam’s policies. At the get-together, Japanese enterprises highly valued the provincial investment environment and petitioned some problems such as selection on proper time for wage increase, control on unexpected power outage, measure for supply of sustainable human resources and so on.
After that, leaders of departments and agencies solved the petitioned problems under their competence while issues beyond their competence would be submitted to higher agencies.
Addressing the meeting, Chairman Le Thanh Cung highly appreciated operational efficiency of Japanese businesses, contributing to boost local development of socio-economy. The chairman applauded the enterprises’ significant and straight petitions and stressed that Binh Duong would pay attention to businesses.
