The whole province, as of March 15, lured 996 newly-registered domestic projects with more than VND5.39trillion and 166 extra-ones with more than VND3.73trillion. Thus, there have been 26,592 domestic projects flowing into the province so far with a total registered capital of more than VND198.2trillion.
Also during the period, the province absorbed 43 newly-registered FDI projects worth US$793million and 18 extra-ones with US$551million. The province has to date had a total of 2,890 FDI projects with a total registered capital of more than US$27.1billion.
Based on the local achievements in investment attraction over the past time, provincial People’s Committee will continue carrying out a Program on improving investment attraction for the period of 2016-2020, a commitment with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry on setting up the local favorable investment climate; simultaneously recheck solutions to further maintain and improve provincial Competitive Index in the coming time. Provincial People’s Committee will also further disseminate investment procedures for industrial parks approved by Prime Minister; organize dialogues with businesses to improve the local investment climate…, thereby accelerating capital sources to serve the local development.
