According to provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DoARD), the whole province now has a total of 910 hectares of farming land with application of new technologies in production.
There is a strong investment in new technologies for breeding farms across the province. The province is now home to 84 farms and 6 companies breeding chickens; 53 farms and 5 companies breeding pigs with nearly 5 million pigs.
In the first quarter of 2015, provincial DoARD coordinated with relevant units to organize 4 training courses on how to plant safe vegetables under VietGap standards, how to plant, tend vegetables, crops and rubber trees in Phu Giao district for 200 farmers; open a seminar on the model of net house system for safe vegetable growing in Tan Uyen town’s Tan Hiep ward for 47 farmers…
