*Outstanding enterprises, entrepreneurs honored
Provincial People’s Committee
yesterday held a ceremony to mark Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (Oct.13,
2004-Oct.13 2012) and honor outstanding enterprises, entrepreneurs in 2012. 
Attending the ceremony were Head of the Southern Representative Agency under the Central Emulation and Rewards Council Ngo Tung Chinh; Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council Vu Minh Sang; Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Nam and Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee Huynh Van Nhi.
According to provincial People’s Committee, enterprises and businesspeople made contributions to the local socio-economic development over the past time. The province’s industrial production value in the first nine months of 2012 reached more than VND29.6trillion; export turnover achieved nearly US$8.3bln; investment attraction was estimated at over VND4trillion and over US$2.4bln…Many enterprises and businesspeople also got involved in activities for the sake of the community.
On this occasion, the organizers also awarded 4 third-class Medals and 1 certificate of merit from the Government PM to 5 entrepreneurs (photo); the certificates of merit from provincial People’s Committee to 133 entrepreneurs and 134 enterprises for their achievements in production and business.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr.Nhi spoke highly of enterprises and entrepreneurs’ contributions to the local socio-economic development while calling for them to further uphold their achievements for better results in production and business, contributing to successfully realizing the local five-year socio-economic development plan, 2011-2015.
