Early March 1, provincial Department of Information and Communications held an online conference to pilot the Binh Duong Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) at provincial Integrated Administration Center.
At the conference, representative of Becamex IDC introduced an overview of the IOC. The IOC system will be connected with other application systems and databases within the province and outside to collect and aggregate data for direction and administration, which is operated continuously with “24 hours a day, seven days a week”; promote the ability to quickly respond to the issues of ministries, sectors and localities. Representative of provincial Department of Information and Communications presented a summary report on the draft plan of the IOC pilot implementation.
The objective of the plan is to help provincial leaders in monitoring and managing; controlling over the overall quality of services in a number of specific areas. The roadmap includes 7 steps for implementation, including renovating, adding material facilities and hardware, installing core software, deploying server infrastructure, surveying databases and integrating modules and functions into the IOC, setting up a personnel project for the IOC, testing functions and evaluating information security of the system, evaluating feasibility…
Accordingly, the roadmap to implement the plan includes 3 phases: Phase 1, implementing the IOC and building the IOC platform and core applications; phase 2, unifying existing data, building display indicators; phase 3, setting up component projects for each specific field. The time for the implementation is from January 2022 to the end of 2022, or until there is a new decision of competent authorities. The province is currently entering the phase 2 of the plan.
