Early March 11, Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee presided over a meeting hearing draft reports of provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development about the Project on “the One Commune, One Product (OCOP)” for the 2018-2020 period, orientations to 2025; the Pilot Project on “Smart village” in Tan Uyen town’s Bach Dang commune towards smart new-style rural construction between 2021 and 2025; the Project on adjustment of An Thai hi-tech agricultural park in Phu Giao district.
Speaking at the event, Mr.Dung asked for functional units to disseminate the OCOP program among locals; give priority to making investment in main products of each locality; raise the value of products and income of locals.
