Price of essential commodities stabilized

The prices of essential goods at mobile sales locations in the province are ensured not to increase for the two months before, during and after the 2015 Tet holiday.

Enterprises participating the province’s price stabilization program will also launch a lot of promotional programs and organize lucky draws with valuable prizes. On the days near Tet, they will offer great discounts for essential goods like poultry eggs, poultry and cattle meat, processed food, seafood, fruits, vegetables, fresh food…

The local functional agencies will closely tighten control over goods prices, supply and demand of Tet goods. They will also not increase the prices of goods under the price stabilization program that are still 10%-15% lower than market prices.

Thus, the program’s price stabilization program for essential goods will begin from December 2014 to March 31, 2015 and then it will be further implemented for the rest of 2015. “Provincial Department of Industry and Trade has asked for participating enterprises to seriously carry out listed prices and planned to realize the price stabilization program, contributing to stabilizing the 2015 Tet goods market”, Mr.Binh said.
