The province has implemented a program on improving investment attraction for the 2016-2020 period, with a target of luring US$7billion for the entire period. But, the province as of late 2019 reached more than US$10.2billion in FDI attraction.
Thus, the province has so far ranked second nationwide in FDI attraction with valid 3,780 FDI projects with total registered capital of US$34.33billion or 9.48% of the whole country’s FDI capital. On average, each FDI project in the province is around US$9.11million. Among FDI projects flowing into the province, there are 2,391 making investment in industrial parks with total investment capital of US$23.1billion or 67% of the province’s FDI capital.
Japan now take the lead among 65 countries and territories investing in the locality with 313 projects capitalized more than US$5.61billion or 16.3% of the province’s FDI capital.
