So far, the whole province has had a total of 32 communes recognized as new-style rural ones or 65% of the plan in the period of 2011-2020.
There are now 9 communes reaching 15-18 criteria of the new rural construction program and 8 with 12-14 criteria of the program. By 2020, the province will strive to get 100% of communes recognized as new-style rural ones while improving the quality of criteria of the program in communes recognized.
Under the program, the province’s rural infrastructure system has been built very spaciously and the lives of locals have also been improved. There are now 98% of inter-communal roads covered by asphalt; 99.91% of rural people in use of national power grid; 97.8% of communes meeting national standards in terms of healthcare; 100% of communes, wards, townships with doctors. The whole province also has 34 rural markets. As of 2015, the average income per capita of locals was VND71.3million; the figure was VND59million in the rural region…
