Cooperatives working effectively
Most cooperatives across the province have worked effectively, generating jobs for unskilled laborers…
It is known that provincial Alliance of Cooperatives has always been the motive force in supporting cooperatives and cooperation groups for better development. Hence, many cooperatives and cooperation groups have worked effectively. Agricultural cooperatives, namely Tan Ba, Phuoc Thai, Ba Nhat…, are typical example for this. At the cooperatives, laborers now enjoy the average income of more than VND3mln per capita per month.

Regarding construction, cooperatives, namely Thanh Long, Cong Minh, Cong Thanh…have also reached a stable operation. So far, ten people’s credit funds in the province have absorbed nearly 52,000 members with more than VND1.433trillion. They have provided loans for more than 4,000 small and middle-sized enterprises, individual business households, contributing to restricting the local usury.
In terms of home industry, cooperatives, namely Phuoc Thanh, Toan Luc...have worked effectively with the average income of laborers at VND3.5mln-VND4mln per capita per month. Meanwhile, laborers at transport cooperatives, namely Binh Duong, Tan Dong Hiep, Minh Giang, Song Than...now enjoy the average income of VND4.5mln-VND5mln per capital per month.
Province-based cooperatives in trade-services have also provided rubber-growing members with necessary materials; processed and purchased rubber latex from them…
Actively supporting cooperatives, cooperation groups
Over the past time, provincial Alliance of Cooperatives gave training courses for members of the steering boards for collective economy at all levels; actively supported cooperatives and cooperation groups, helping them overcome difficulties and continue effectively working…
For better development, the province’s collective economy needs to have the linkage among farmers, scientists, enterprises and the State. To achieve this, provincial Alliance of Cooperatives will further reinforce its management apparatus; actively support cooperatives and cooperation groups; team up with mass organizations and localities to speed up propaganda work in order to absorb the involvement of individuals, households, production-trading facilities…in the collective economic models.
Provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung has also instructed sectors and authorities at all levels of the province to have a close coordination with provincial Alliance of Cooperatives to thoroughly grasp the importance of collective economy in socialist oriented market economy and international economic integration; open training courses on trade promotion skills for cooperatives, cooperation groups’ cadres; tighten control over the implementation of the Law on Cooperatives…For 2015’s working budget, more than VND846mln will be spent on opening training courses about collective economy…
Since early this year, there have been additional 5 cooperatives with 38 members. The whole province has so far had a total of 123 cooperatives with 53,281 members and chaptered capital of VND682.2bln. Among them, there are 25 cooperatives on transport, 24 on agriculture, 15 on home industry, 14 on construction, 34 on trade and 10 people’s credit funds. There are also 254 cooperation groups.
