According to a report by provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s total export turnover in April 2015 was estimated at more than US$1.344trillion, up 4.7%.
The province’s main export products were still woodwork, garment-textile, footwear, pottery and rubber latex. Woodwork industry’s export value achieved US$167.7mln, up 3.4% compared to the previous month and up 15.3% compared to last year’s same period or 12.4% of the province’s total export value. Meanwhile, the export value of garment-textile and footwear industries were US$149.4mln and US$116.7mln, up 2.4% and 3.8% compared to the previous month and up 15% and 11.4% against last year’s same period or 11.1% and 8.6% of the province total export value, respectively…
Estimatedly, the province’s total export value in the first four months of the year was VND5.58trillion, up 16.1% compared to last year’s same period. Of the total figure, the domestic investment sector gained US$984.7mln, up 15.4% while the foreign investment sector obtained more than US$4.595trillion, up 16.2%.
The province’s total import value in April was also estimated at more than US$1.213mln, up 5.4% compared to the previous month. The figure in the first months of the year was US$4.882trillion, up 16.4% over last year’s same period.
