Provincial People’s Committee, on April 26, held a periodic session in April, 2018, which was presided over by Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.
The province’s industrial production in April surged 8.16% and 12.4% compared to the previous month and the same period last year, respectively. The figure over the past four months reached a 7.91% growth.
Also in April, the province’s export value was estimated at US$2.1billion, up 23.7% compared to the same period. The province continued gaining a massive trade surplus. The province’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services was more than VND15.7trillion. The figure over the past four months was more than VND60.3trillion.
The province’s consumer price index (CPI) in the first four months of the year grew by 2.01% compared to the same period last year. But, the province’s FDI attraction only reached US$119million. Speaking at the session, Mr.Liem stressed that relevant agencies needed to hasten the progress of public investment disbursement to realize the local major goals; strengthen measures against fire and explosion; modify regulations on arrangement of industries; issue joint regulations on controlling companies after being set up and a plan on encouraging business households to change into companies for the period of 2018-2020; oversee the situation of goods supply and market price; actively manage State budget; improve the quality of credit; reduce debt arrears…
