Under the instructions of provincial People’s Committee, the province’s economy has still achieved good growth in 2012, despite difficulties from high interest rates, increases in input prices, consumption market narrowed…
Accordingly, the province’s industrial production value in 2012 is estimated at VND140.66trillion, up 14.2% compared to the corresponding period of last year. Of the total figure, the domestic investment sector is estimated at VND42.92trillion, up 12.5% while the foreign investment sector is estimated at VND97,739bln, up 15%.

14.2%...Also in 2012, some industries on food processing, garment and textile,
electronics, woodwork… have seen high growth in output.

Enterprises’efforts for development
In the face of common difficulties, province-based enterprises have taken initiative in properly cutting production costs, re-arranging labor and investment structure, enhancing management effectiveness and promoting production.
Noticeably, some enterprises have overcome difficulties and risen up by their own ways. Vuong Minh Hieu, Deputy Director of Tuan Linh Co. said that in addition to traditional markets, the company has taken initiative in penetrating into Austria. Currently, the company makes preparatory steps to penetrate into Australia.
Sang Ban Mai Energy Joint Stock Co. has also learnt and opened its branch in Myanmar for better development. Whilst, Nghe Nang Industry Co. is ready for exporting its products to Myanmar and Indonesia in 2013.
Many other enterprises have changed their business and production activities for existence and development. Lien Phat Footwear Co. is a typical example for this. It has also got involved in warehouse and merchandise exchange services…
Further seeking measures to remove enterprises’ difficulties
Since early this year, provincial People’s Committee and relevant sectors have regularly organized meetings with industries’ associations and enterprises to help remove their difficulties in production and business.
Vo Van Cu, Director of provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) said that in 2012, provincial DoIT has implemented many programs to promote the local industrial development, including giving priority to auxiliary industries; perfecting infrastructure at industrial compounds and parks; selectively absorbing projects that are line with the local sustainable development orientations…Especially, the province’s project to promote industries’ associations has brought high efficiency.
At a recent meeting of provincial People’s Committee, Le Thanh Cung, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee has instructed the local functional agencies to actively help enterprises overcome their difficulties; encouraged them to apply energy-saving measures and increase the localization rate to industrial products…for production and business stabilization in the next year.
