Binh Duong’s total retail sales of commodities and services as of late October were estimated at more than VND70.907trillion, up 22.3% compared to the corresponding period last year or 73% of the year’s plan.
Of the total, the State-owned investment sector achieved more than VND11.619bln, up 2.7%; the private investment sector secured VND57.516trillion, up 20.3%; the foreign investment sector gained VND1.771trillion, up 26.9%.
In general, there was no great fluctuation about Binh Duong’s market price in October, except some essential commodities. The retail petrol price was reduced by VND390 a liter on October 7 while the retail gas price decreased by around VND5,000 a 12kg tank compared to the previous month…
There was a light increase by VND2,000 a kg for various vegetables and fruits. Other commodities also saw a light fluctuation in price. The province’s CPI in October rose by 0.2% compared to the previous month and 11.2% compared to the corresponding period last year.
