Sharing difficulties with the poor and the disabled

Vu Kieu Nu, head of provincial Business’s Club said: “Social charity activities have received enthusiastic response from members of the club. We have felt delightful when partially sharing difficulties with the poor…”.

Provincial Business’s Club has so far built and handed over 32 compassion houses worth VND635mln to needy people; raised VND191mln to charity activities. Members of the club over time also donated nearly VND100mln in cash and many other gifts to the poor.

Thanks to the club’s attention and help, many unfortunate people have so far escaped poverty and risen up for a stable life. The family of Ho Thi Nhot in Tan Uyen district’s Tan Phuoc Khanh township is a typical example of this. She now lives in a warm house donated by the club…

Provincial Businesswomen’s Club over time also donated compassion houses to the poor in the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang and those living in the border area of Loc Ninh district’s Loc Thanh commune in the southern province of Binh Phuoc.

Sharing experience in business

It is known that one of the key tasks set out by provincial Businesswomen’s Club is to exchange and share mutual experience in business and family management. During the last tenure, the club held 12 classes and talk shows on leaders’ communication skills and knowledge of stock market, training of tax, English communication skills, how to keep beauty…

For mutual understanding and better development, provincial Businesswomen’s Club set up an e-summary record to introduce the scopes of business and the addresses of each member. Many domestic and foreign tours were also organized by the club, helping its members become closer.

In the new tenure of 2010 and 2012, provincial Businesswomen’s Club has set the   targets of admitting at least 10 new members a year and making close relationship among its members. Regarding social charity activities, the club will further call for its members to support and build at least 20 compassion houses a year; award 100 scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils; further provide free medical check-ups and medicine for needy patients in and out of the province.
