Early May 26, provincial Customs Department held a dialogue with Japanese businesses investing in the province. Attending the dialogue were leaders of provincial Customs Department, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s HCM city branch, province-based Japanese Business Association together with around 70 Japanese businesses operating in the province.

Japanese businesses also presented their queries pertaining to customs procedures such as the certificates for food safety-hygiene when making import procedures, the time of submitting accounting reports for export production, the grant of the same codes…These queries received obvious answers from representative of the Department. The Department also acknowledged the issues beyond competence to submit them to higher authorities for solutions in the soonest time.
