Provincial Department of Construction (DoC), on August 2, forwarded a conference to partially sum up its activities in the first half of 2018 and extend tasks for the rest of the year, in attendance of Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.
Over the past six months, provincial DoC well fulfilled the set tasks. Particularly, provincial DoC considered and granted construction license certificates to 44 organizations and 199 individuals; checked and took over 20 works; inspected 1,494 works and handled wrong cases with a total fine of more than VND2.4billion; focused on implementing technical infrastructure and urban development projects, contributing to improving the lives of city dwellers and promoting the local socio-economic development; bent on improving the quality of urban areas…
Addressing the conference, Mr.Liem acknowledged results done by the sector over the past time while asking for the sector to strengthen construction management, attach special importance to flooding and propose provincial People’s Committee to build water drainage systems…
