Four provincial Party Committee’s breakthrough programs comprise of the Program No.20-Ctr/TU dated August 9, 2016 on improving the quality of sci-tech officials and laborers at requirements for provincial development in the new period; the Program No.22-CTr/TU dated August 8, 2016 on civilized, prosperous and beautiful urban development with a goal of improving the quality of people’s life; the Program No.23-CTr-TU dated August 16, 2016 on mobilizing and upholding resources from economic sectors to further develop provincial socio-economic infrastructure for the period of 2016-2020; the Program No.24-Ctr-Tu dated August 16, 2016 on further developing hi-quality services to serve provincial urban and industrial development for the period of 2016-2020.

Under the above programs, provincial DoIT has coordinated with provincial Industrial Parks Management Board to hasten the progress of construction of industrial compounds and parks in the province. Provincial DoIT has also fulfilled a project on electricity development planning between 2016-2025 and vision to 2035; rechecked the investment situation of logistics projects, put forward solutions to call investment for logistics projects; paid more attention to fostering trade-services…So far, the whole province has had a total of 3 plazas, 11 supermarkets and 107 markets. Provincial DoIT has also set a project on increasing the localization rate of materials to more than 20% between 2016-2020; strengthened auxiliary, hi-tech industries…
According to leaders of province-based enterprises, provincial DoIT made efforts to improve the local investment climate and support economic sectors over the past time. Truong Thi Thuy Lien, General Director of Lien Phat Co.Ltd. in Di An town said that the local industry and trade sector’s efforts in administrative reform have helped enterprises save money and time in realizing administrative procedures. Provincial DoIT has also regularly organized dialogues with enterprises, helping remove their obstacles in production-business for better development…
Nguyen Van Danh, Director of provincial DoIT said that after two years of implementing provincial Party Committee’s breakthrough programs, the sector has created bright spots for the local economy. Noticeably, the province has reached the annual GRDP growth of 8.83%; index of industrial production of 10.98% per year; total retail revenue of commodities and services of 20% per year; export turnover of 17% per year…
Further putting forward appropriate solutions
Provincial DoIT has created changes after two years of realizing provincial Party Committee’s breakthrough programs. But now, there are still shortcomings for change.
In order to victoriously carry out provincial Party Committee’s breakthrough programs, provincial DoIT will focus on 8 solutions, including giving priority to domestic enterprises in auxiliary industry when taking part in trade promotion programs; coordinating with sectors to make technical infrastructure investment for industrial compounds; developing a network of markets, supermarkets and plazas in line with demand for economic development; turning logistics into a service sector with high added value in the local trade-service structure…
Provincial Party Committee’s breakthrough programs have also been implemented by the local sectors and authorities at all levels. With high determination by the whole sector’s staff, according to Mr.Danh, provincial DoIT will continue tapping internal and exterior forces to well fulfill all entrusted tasks.
