Provincial GDP expected to be increased by 13% in the year
The assessment was made at the 28th session of Provincial People’s Committee approving evaluation of socio-economic plan in 2012, socio-economic plan and State’s budget estimation in 2013, and budget investment plan in 3 years from 2013 to 2015. The session was host by Chairman Le Thanh Cung on July 31.In the face economic recovery, local economy has been still at risks of inflation, loans difficulties, and declining consumer buying; however, the economic targets have been met (GDP maintained at 13% of growth, export revenue increased by 20%, budget collection reached VND 24,500 billion, budget pay-out reached VND 9,500 billion, retails increased by 30% comparing to 2011, FDI reached USD 2.3 billion).Addressing the session, Chairman Le Thanh Cung called upon sectors and agencies to duly implement resolutions of local Party Committee and People’s Concil on socio-economic development plan in 2012, especially the Resolution No. 13/NQ-CP to encourage enterprises with business activities by removing some obstacles for them.Reported by Thanh Son – Translated by Vi Bao
