According to General Department of Statistics, Binh Duong provincial industrial production index in 2020 has been estimated to increase by 8.02% from 2019. Processing and invention industries increased by 7.96%, distribution and production of gas, electricity, heated water, steam, and air-conditioning by 10.52%, water supply, waste and wastewater treatment by 14.5%.
Of the second rate industries in the province, printing and record duplicating industries increased by 11.29, medicines, chemicals, and pharmaceutical products by 16.46%, rubber and plastic production 8.8%, metal and ready-cast metal products (exclusive of machines and equipment) 8.07%, electronic, computer, and optic products 17.14%.
In 2020, Binh Duong provincial authority has implemented directive documents from the central government to stay ahead of the situation and proposal of measures to resolve problems for industries, especially processing and creation industries with refined institutions and improved investment environment. Binh Duong provincial authority has also promoted investments into infrastructure and attraction of production projects to industrial parks and clusters. Enterprises have been assisted to develop their production on the basis of local potentials.
