Provincial Industrial Promotion Center has always gone along with enterprises over the past time, actively contributing to the local economic growth. Especially, in 2012, the center has directly funded enterprises’ human resource training.
Human resource training directly funded
According to Pham Thanh Dung, deputy director of provincial Industrial Promotion Center, one of the center’s top tasks is to regularly realize a program on vocational training for laborers. Noticeably, this year’s program will directly give financial support for enterprises in human resource training.
The center last year gave support on vocational training and
job creation to 1,250 laborers in industrial garment and woodwork industries.
This year, the center will provide enterprises with national industrial
promotion capital to give vocational training on 800 laborers in garment and
woodwork industries.

In Q1 2012, the center worked with province-based three enterprises, including Hiep Thinh Co.Ltd., Trieu Phu Loc One-Member Co.Ltd. and Binh Phu Co.Ltd. and handed over expenditure for implementation of the 2012 national industrial promotion program to them.
The center also had working sessions with Phu An bamboo village, Quoc Te Garment Private Enterprise and Kim Thanh A Co.Ltd. on vocational training support for laborers.
Under the center’s financial support, Quoc Te Garment Co. in Ben Cat district’s An Dien commune and Hiep Thinh Garment in Thuan An town’s Binh Chuan ward opened classes on sewing skill for hundreds of workers.
Industrial promotion capital awaiting enterprises
Le Van Chi, director of provincial Industrial Promotion Center said: “In addition to vocational training, this year the center will actively carry out many other industrial promotion activities, including subsidizing investment of equipment and machines; building up industries’ associations, preserving and upholding traditional crafts; developing vocational training at enterprises’ requirements…; especially speeding up dissemination of information about the Party and State’s guidelines and policies pertaining to industrial promotion…”.
The center now speeds up dissemination of information about policies on industrial promotion to industrial facilities in rural areas so that they can enjoy them, contributing to promoting the cause of agricultural and rural industrialization and modernization.
