Provincial Job Introducing Center – A reliable address of businesses and labors

Coming to provincial Job Introducing Center (JIC), businesses can find abundant labor resources, labors can find suitable jobs. The Center has become a reliable address assisting businesses in finding and employing the human resource, creating jobs for labors, contributing to ensuring social security.

A linkage between businesses and labors

This was the 10^th time that Yazaki Eds Vietnam Company registered for recruitment at Jobs transaction session held by JIC. The company also regularly recruits labors through website of the JIC. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh representing the company said: “We are pleased with attention and supports from JIC. We consider the maintenance of jobs transaction sessions as the concern of provincial leadership for interests of businesses and labors. Thanks to the center, the company has opportunities to recruit good employees”.

Labors have also trusted provincial JIC. Ms. Le Ngoc Ha (28 years old, coming from Nam Dinh) came to JIC the second time to find job. Ha was a student of Binh Duong University, but could not find a job after graduation. In 2008, she came to JIC and got a job. This time, she wanted to find new job near her husband. Ha said: “I came to some private job introducing centers, but had to pay fees to be introduced jobs. Thus I went to provincial JIC to find jobs without any fees”.

Life was so tough in hometown, hence Tran Anh Dung moved to Binh Duong province to find jobs. He posted an advertisement on JIC’s website. Provincial JIC also gave Dung instructions on how to choose a suitable job, prepare CVs, interviewing skills and so on. “I was pleased with service quality of JIC. Through its website, I can easily look for recruitment information, labor policies, unemployment insurance…”, said Dung.

Innovation in services

Provincial JIC was established in 1986, and formerly was Job Promotion Center. As a unit under Department of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs, initially, the center introduced labors, gave advice of labor laws. Since 2008, labor market in the province has been more crowded, thus the center opened and maintained jobs transaction sessions. 

To be really a linkage between businesses and labors, JIC has carried out not only direct counseling but also opened jobs transaction sessions on the monthly 15^th day. Up to now, 113 sessions have been successfully held, enabling labors to access to employment opportunities. JIC has also organized mobile jobs transaction sessions at communes, wards, schools; assisted businesses in recruiting labors outside the province. Along with employment information search, abundant labor resource, the center gives employment advices on telephone, Yahoo chat, email with 50,000 hits every day. 

Jon Introducing office’s Head of JIC Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong said, they continued to promote activities of online jobs transaction sessions, improve quality of labor supply, strengthen information collecting on labor markets, strengthen recruitment assistance for businesses; conduct unemployment insurance propaganda, address unemployment insurance claims.
