Provincial leader meets Tokyu Group and Japanese Investors

As part of the sidelines of the official visit to Japan by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Binh Duong provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Van Minh had meetings with Tokyu Group and several Japanese investors.

Accordingly, on December 5, provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Van Minh had a meeting with Nomoto Hirofumi, Chairman of Tokyu Group. The meeting was also attended by Hirohisa Fujiwara, Standing Member of the Board of Directors and International Business Director of Tokyu Group; representatives from Becamex IDC; General Director of Becamex Tokyu Vietnam and leaders from Binh Duong provincial Department of Foreign Affairs.

At the meeting, provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Van Minh expressed his hope that Tokyu Group would further research and develop urban areas in the province, focusing on Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), Light Rail Transit (LRT)…, contributing to the local development. Provincial leaders pledged to always accompany and create favorable conditions for Tokyu Group as well as other foreign investors to carry out investment cooperation activities in the province for the development of the locality and enterprises.

*Earlier, on December 4, provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Van Minh had a meeting with Kenta Nagano, Global Business Development Director of IHI Corporation.

IHI Group of Japan is a leading industrial group has got involved in many business scopes and implemented many successful projects in Vietnam. During the meeting, provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Van Minh expressed his hope that IHI Group would further explore investment opportunities in the province and collaborate in the fields of mutual interest, contributing to the local socio-economic development.

*On this occasion, provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Van Minh met and exchanged with Masayasu Kondo, Senior Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Van Minh expressed his hope that Mitsubishi Heavy Industries will explore opportunities for cooperation and investment in Binh Duong province in fields where the company has strengths and further support Mitsubishi Motors in their collaborative activities for investment in the province.

Provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Van Minh also met and discussed with Tetsuyuki Nakagawa, General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam Co., Ltd. During the meetings, provincial leaders reaffirmed their commitment to always accompany and create favorable conditions for Japanese investors as well as foreign and domestic investors, to carry out cooperation, investment and trade activities in the province, for the development of the locality and enterprises.
