At the reception, Mr.Koshimura Toshiaki expressed his impression on Binh Duong’s robust growth in all aspects in recent one year. He said: “Binh Duong will carry out its Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system by Japan’s ODA capital. The project’s procedures are being perfected to submit to the government of the two countries for approval. Tokyu Group also thanked provincial leaders for their cooperation and support in realizing the project while hoping that Becamex Tokyu Joint Venture Company will continue being got involved in the local recreational fields to be able to absorb more visitors, investors and people for living and working in Binh Duong New City.
Mr.Tran Van Nam, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee also thanked the Chairman of Japan’s Tokyu Group for his sincere ideas to the province and said that the province’s rapid growth also came from contributions by leaders of Tokyu Group and Becamex Tokyu Joint Venture Company via many works and projects, including those of the way to provincial Integrated Administration Center, rapid bus routes, SoraGarden building, Hikari food section…
Binh Duong is now among Vietnam’s top five localities in FDI attraction with 2,443 projects worth US$20.77bln from 39 countries and territories in the world. Japan leads foreign investment in the province with US$6bln. Noticeably, the Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City project is worth US$1.2bln.
He added that Binh Duong spoke highly of the joint venture company’s cooperation and operational efficiency and hoped that Tokyu Group would get involved in fields prioritized by the province so that the province could become a developed and diversified city.
