Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, on February 21, received a business delegation from Japan’s Shizuoka province, led by Seiji Inada, Chairman of Mishima city’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Shizuoka province.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr.Seiji Inada briefly introduced Shizuoka’s socio-economic situation. He said that the delegation’s visit aimed to seek investment opportunities in Binh Duong while hoping that the two sides will forward concrete cooperation activities in the coming time.
Mr.Liem also informed the delegation of the local socio-economic performance. Accordingly, Binh Duong is one of the country’s top localities in investment attraction. The whole province is now home to 28 industrial parks with 10,000 hectares in total and around 2,800 FDI enterprises with a total registered capital of US$27billion. Among 59 countries, territories making investment in the province, Japan with nearly 250 projects worth more than US$5billion ranks second in the amount of investment capital and third in the number of projects. The province has also excelled at administrative reform to create an open investment climate for enterprises. Especially, provincial leaders have always accompanied enterprises, facilitating their development.
At the working session, representative of enterprises in Shizuoka spoke highly of Binh Duong’s investment climate while expressing a desire of production and business herein.
