Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received a delegation of Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kocham) on the afternoon of May 29.
At the reception, Mr.Hung briefly informed the delegation of the province’s socio-economic development, especially FDI attraction. So far, there have been more than 60 countries and territories making investment in the province with a total registered capital of nearly US$31billion. Among them, South Korea has ranked second in the number of projects with nearly 700 and taken fourth position in the amount of capital with US$2.9billion.
Kim Heung Soo, Chairman of Kocham said that South Korean businesses in the province have worked very effectively. Accompanying Binh Duong, Koham will further call for South Korean businesses to make investment in the province while strengthening trade cooperation and exchanges between South Korean businesses and the local administration.
For his part, Mr.Hung said that provincial leaders have hailed contributions by the South Korean business community to the local development. They have always created favorable conditions for South Korean businesses to work effectively.
