At the reception, Mr.Liem said that the province’s projects on environmental protection funded by the WB have upheld their efficiency. Lately, the Di An wastewater treatment factory implemented by Binh Duong Water-Environmental Joint Stock Company has just been put into operation, contributing to improving the local water environment and people’s living space. This is one of the province’s top targets towards sustainable and green development. Hence, Mr.Liem wanted that the World Bank will continue supporting the local environmental protection projects in the coming time.
Mr.Ousmane Dione said that the WB is ready to fund the province’s next projects on environmental protection and other fields. This is because Binh Duong is a locality with economic development, making great contributions to the region. The province now has a lot of advantages in terms of human resource with international universities, so it needs to focus on well tapping these advantages.
