Provincial leader receives "Vietnam Initiative" group

Early June 14, Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee had a meeting with "Vietnam Initiative" group, led by Prof.Dr.Tran Noc Anh, member of  the Government’s Economic Advisor Group, who currently teaches at Indiana University in the U.S.

At the meeting, Prof.Dr. Tran Ngoc Anh said that there are still "bottlenecks" in the direction and operation of localities, leading to certain limitations in administration. Accountability is the basis for measuring the results and performance of each unit and individual, thereby setting reward levels. Work results are also reflected in satisfaction in serving people and businesses.

Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Anh recommended that in the coming time, the province should continue focusing on building and completing administrative reform tools. The province also needs to build a system to evaluate its performance with specific quality indicators towards a government that creates, serves and acts...

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Minh suggested relevant departments and sectors to continue discussing  more specifically to set up effective solutions on administrative reform, contributing to improving provincial Public Administration Reform Index), best serving people and businesses. He hopes that the "Vietnam Initiative" group and its member units will have close cooperation in training human resources for the province in the short and medium term for relevant fields.
