Early March 8, Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation received a delegation of Singapore’s Sembcorp, led by Neil McGregor, CEO of the corporation.

At the reception, Mr.Nam wished the delegation a good working trip while saying that provincial leaders have always spoken highly of the cooperation model between Sembcorp and Becamex IDC during the past 20 years. The VSIP model has become a friendship symbol between the two governments
On behalf of the delegation, Neil McGregor thanked provincial leaders for their support to Sembcorp over the past time. So far, Sembcorp has mapped out a new development strategy with 2 orientations, including the first orientation on real estate development at urban and hi-tech industrial development; the second one on making industrial products pertaining to sustainable development. The corporation also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on more effectively developing the VSIP model with Becamex IDC…
*The same day, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received Neil McGregor, CEO of Sembcorp. The event was also attended by Nguyen Van Hung, CEO of Becamex IDC and leaders of sectors, departments in the province.
At the reception, after hearing Mr.Liem’s introduction on the local socio-economic performance, Mr.Neil McGregor thanked leaders of provincial People’s Committee and sectors, departments in the province for their support in promoting the cooperation between Sembcorp and Becamex IDC. According to Sembcorp, new orientations for the development of VSIP are smart and green development and Binh Duong will be selected for application of the corporation’s first pilot models.
