Mr.Edward Yau Tang-wah thanked provincial leaders for their warm welcome while speaking highly of remarkable economic development and infrastructure development potential of Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular. The goal of the visit was to create favorable conditions for Hong Kong’s businesses to learn about Binh Duong’s infrastructure development plan, thereby strengthening investment cooperation between Hong Kong and Binh Duong in particular and Hong Kong and Vietnam in general.
At the reception, Mr.Liem said that over the past years, Binh Duong actively perfected technical infrastructure facilities of industrial parks and boosted administrative reform, creating an open investment climate. Besides, the province now has a system of vocational training facilities at businesses’ demand for human resources. So far, the province has had a total of 34,000 businesses, including more than 3,000 FDI ones. The province has ranked second nationwide in FDI attraction after HCM city.
He also wanted that Binh Duong will have more cooperation opportunities with Hong Kong while affirming that provincial leaders are always ready for sharing information with businesses and dealing with their obstacles, creating advantageous conditions for them to work effectively.
