On the afternoon of July 17, Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received a Korean business delegation in China’s Guangdong province, led by Lee Min Jae, Chairman of the South Korean Business Association in the Chinese province.
At the reception, Mr.Hung expressed his delight at the delegation’s visit while informing the delegation about the province’s socio-economic development and investment attraction over the past time. The province has attached special importance to absorbing hi-tech and large-scale projects that are less labor-incentive. South Korea now ranked the fourth among 64 countries and territories making investment in the province with total capital of US$3.1billion. In the coming time, the province will develop some new industrial parks approved by the Government, which is hoped to bring investment opportunities to Korean businesses.
For his part, Mr.Lee Min Jae said that most South Korean businesses in the delegation are in line with fields concerned by the province. He will also introduce the province’s investment climate to members of the association for investment expansion in the coming time.
