Early October 27, Mai Hung Dung, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, Head of provincial Steering Board of Smart City Development Project received and worked with Luu Trong Minh, Chairman of Taiwanese Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Chairman of Taiwanese Information Technology Association. Also attending the working session was Nguyen Van Hung, CEO of Becamex IDC.
An overal picture of the working session
At the working session, Mr.Dung applauded the delegation’s visit while informing the delegation of provincial leaders’ visit to Taiwan (China) in early March, 2017. Becamex IDC and Taiwanese ITRI also signed some cooperation agreements. He wanted that Taiwanese IYRI will support Binh Duong in smart city development.
In his part, Mr.Minh said that Taiwanese ITRI has known information about Binh Duong’s hi-tech development. After the visit, Taiwanese ITRI will get more opportunities in order to make contributions to Binh Duong’s smart city construction.
*Prior to that, Taiwanese ITRI handed over a new advertising machine to Becamex IDC. Along with providing information on normal entertainment services, this is a modern equipment under the fourth industrial trend. It is used to handle information and data for smart city and is capable of linking with other machines to create a network on data collection and settlement.
Mr.Minh said that the clouding computing solution will open up a new cooperation opportunity for the two sides.
