Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha claimed that this is a very important event to stimulate the process of industrialization and urbanization of Binh Dinh province and turning Nhon Hoi Economic Zone into dynamic coastal economic zone. Starting construction in September 2020, Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial, Urban and Service Zone is a cooperation between Becamex IDC Corporation and VSIP Group, located in Canh Vinh commune, Van Canh district, Binh Dinh province. The master plan has 1,374 hectares with a total investment of more than 7,500 billion VND, in subdivision 7 of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, including 1,000 hectares of industrial parks and 374 hectares of resettlement areas, residential, commercial and service areas.
Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park, Urban Area and Services is a very new program, requiring a methodical, synchronous approach and with the mindset of digital transformation and green transformation, must thoroughly resolve the relationship between development economics with environmental protection. In particular, the motto of keeping the environment in harmony with the natural ecosystem and environmental hygiene must be implemented. This is the world's conversion choice trend. Therefore, the Deputy Prime Minister clearly stated that this is the orientation and prerequisite in developing the industrial park - urban - centralized service model. In particular, regarding industrial development, Becamex and VSIP need to be pioneers in this transformation and need to build their own criteria, new criteria, as a basis for choosing green technology, clean technology, and smart ecological industrial parks. At the inauguration ceremony, an investment cooperation signing ceremony took place between Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh and partners (BW Industrial Development Joint Stock Company invested 25 million USD; Logiform Company invested US$10 million); King Honor Paper Products Manufacturing Company invested US$6 million; Kung Jui Mechanical Company invested US$8 million).
