A meeting between provincial leaders and South Korean businesses was held at provincial Convention Center on the morning of August 16. Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee chaired the meeting.

According to provincial Department of Planning and Investment, the province absorbed more than US$1.7billion in FDI capital over the past 7 months. South Korea now ranks third among countries and territories making investment in the province with 619 projects capitalized at more than US$2.69billion.
At the meeting, many South Korean businesses expressed their satisfaction at policies of the local government. Most queries by them received concrete and obvious answers from representatives of sectors, departments in the province.
Mr.Liem also acknowledged active contributions by South Korean businesses to the local socio-economic development while emphasizing that the province will continue focusing on improving the local investment climate, competitiveness in order to support South Korean businesses in particular and the business community in general. To implement this, provincial leaders will mobilize all resources to perfect socio-economic infrastructure; expand industrial parks; train human resources, build social houses for workers, sufficiently supply human resources for businesses; further boost administrative reform; create the best conditions for businesses to work…
