After visiting and extending New Year greetings to leaders of Champasak province in Laos, a delegation of Binh Duong province’s leaders, led by Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, had a working session with Dau Tieng Viet-Lao Rubber Joint Stock Company (JSC).
At the working session, leaders of the company said that the company was granted an investment certificate by the Lao government with a total rubber growing area of more than 10,000 hectares capitalized at more than VND1.3trillion. So far, the company has planted nearly 7,000 hectares of rubber, including nearly 5,000 hectares of rubber under exploitation with the output of more than 6,000 tons of rubber latex per year. The company now has a total of more than 1,800 laborers, comprising of nearly 200 Vietnamese ones, with the average income of more than VND3million per capita per month. In 2017, the company inaugurated and put its rubber latex processing plant into operation with the capacity of more than 10,000 tons of rubber latex per year, with a clean water supply and waste water treatment system, well meeting the company’s demand for production and business.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Liem send good wishes to all staff of the company on the occasion of the Bunpimay New Year festival while speaking highly of the efforts by the company’s staff over the past time. In the coming time, the company will further strive to well fulfill the set targets, contributing to promoting Champasak province’s socio-economic development; maintain the sustainable friendship between Vietnam-Laos and Binh Duong-Champasak.
