On the afternoon of June 11, Bui Minh Tri, Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received and worked with Su Liang, Chairman of MiTAC Group (Taiwan, China), along with other members of the delegation. Representatives from relevant provincial departments and agencies were also in attendance.

During the meeting, Mr. Su Liang expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome extended by provincial leaders and departments. He stated that the purpose of the delegation’s visit was to explore the local investment environment and discuss policies related to technological development and digital transformation. He also expressed the group’s interest in cooperating in the fields of technology transfer, workforce training, AI solution development, digital governance and smart city building.
Mr. Su Liang spoke highly of Binh Duong’s recent economic achievements and introduced MiTAC’s operations in Vietnam. He noted that Binh Duong has significant development potential and that there are ample opportunities for cooperation between the province and MiTAC Group for mutual growth.
In response, Mr. Tri highlighted that Binh Duong is an industrial province currently attracting a large number of foreign investors, including businesses from Taiwan. With its advantages in infrastructure, human resources and progressive investment policies, the province is prioritizing investment in high-tech and knowledge-intensive sectors — areas that align with MiTAC Group’s interests in Vietnam such as technology transfer, workforce training, AI solution development, digital governance and smart city models.
Mr.Tri expressed hope that the group will consider investing in urban railway systems, freight railways, the national railway network and science and technology development projects. He emphasized that provincial authorities are committed to creating the most favorable conditions to support enterprises in their continued growth.
