Noticeably, the model of growing Canary melons in a greenhouse at An Thai hi-tech agricultural park has brought farmers around VND1bln in total revenue per crop with profit reaching more than VND500mln. Every year, farmers can carry out 3 crops from the model with total profit of more than VND1.5bln per hectare. The hi-tech agricultural park has also developed a model of growing bananas for export with the annual profit of more than VND300mln.
At the working session, Mr.Cung spoke highly of cultivation models at An Thai hi-tech agricultural park. He would also consider petitions by leaders of the hi-tech agricultural park, creating favorable conditions for it to become a tentative model on hi-tech based cultivation.
The same day, leaders of provincial People’s Committee also had a working session with Phu Giao district’s People’s Committee about the local socio-economic development, especially in the industrial and urban development fields.
