On May 14th, Provincial Lottery Supervision Council held a conference to summarize the supervision of construction lottery activities in 2019 and set directions and tasks for 2020. Attending the meeting were Mai Hung Dung, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of Provincial Lottery Supervision Council; leaders of Binh Duong Lottery Company; representatives of departments, branches and members of the council.
According to reports, in 2019, Provincial Lottery Supervision Council promptly amended and supplemented the Regulations on organization and operation. In addition, Provincial Lottery Supervision Council and assistant teams performed works actively, responsibly, strictly, successfully completed tasks in accordance with the regulations issued by Provincial People's Committee, so as not to cause errors and negative behaviors. Besides, Provincial Lottery Supervision Council guaranteed the objectivity, honesty, protected the rights of lottery ticket buyers, helped the company to organize and effectively manage its business activities as well as strictly abide by the regulations of Ministry of Finance. Provincial Lottery Supervision Council participated two times in periodic monitoring of the maintenance of lottery winning wheels according to regulations.
In 2019, Binh Duong Lottery Company exceeded the annual targets. Namely, the company achieved a total revenue of VND4,628 billion, up 9.5% compared to 2018, exceeding 13.6% of the annual target; profit reached VND648 billion, up 17.2% compared to 2018, exceeding 25.8% of the annual target; contributed VND1,540 billion to State budget, exceeding 13.6% of the provincial estimate.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dung appreciated the efforts and results in 2019 of Binh Duong Lottery Company. At the same time, he requested to quickly consolidate Provincial Lottery Supervision Council; review, amend and supplement the organization and operation regulations of the council; continue to strictly carry out assigned tasks to ensure increasingly effective supervision.
