Provincial Market Management Bureau to strengthen communication about violations in commercial activities

In the first 10 months of 2020, provincial market management sector cooperated with mass media in districts, towns and cities to carry out nearly 500 broadcasts about administrative violations in commercial activities. In addition, the bureau encouraged more than 2,400 commercial organizations and individuals of medical supplies and equipment to sign commitments not to take advantage of the epidemic to set unreasonable selling prices of goods, and clearly list prices of goods. In addition, the sector also launched communication on 10 issues that business households should pay attention to as doing business, harms of tobacco, and hung banners to propagate "Action Month for Food Safety" in 2020.

The sector also presided over and cooperated with associations to combat counterfeiting and protect intellectual property rights of FDI enterprises; held workshops on identification of real and counterfeit goods, and trainings of food safety knowledge, skills to distinguish fake goods for officials and other functional forces. Therefore, consumers' awareness of obeying business law, fighting against counterfeiting is improved.
