Early June 20, provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung and leaders of sectors, departments in the province paid a working visit to the Hongkong-invested Mega Step Electronics Vietnam Co.Ltd. in VSIP 1.
At the working session, General Director of the company said that after the recent incidents, all staff of the company have quickly overcome obstacles to resume operation in the soonest time. But, the company has so far found it difficult to be able to soon receive compensation insurance money, due to many reasons. Hence, according to him, the province’s support is needed for the company to opportunely resume operation in July 2014 at partners’ requirements.
Speaking at the working session, Mr.Cung spoke highly of the effort by the company in recovering production and required the company to soon contact provincial Department of Tax, Department of Customs in order to restore damaged documents and fulfill necessary documents to receive the province’s support in accordance with the Government’s instruction.
It is known that provincial People’s Committee has suggested the Government, the Ministry of Finance to deal with the issue of workers’ salary for the days off, due to the recent incidents. Along with support policies under the Government’s instruction, many other support policies within the competence of provincial People’s Committee will be implemented to help the company soon resume operation…
