Provincial People's Committee issued a plan for the implementation of Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) in Binh Duong Province. Accordingly, departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts, towns, and city shall strengthen information dissemination of CPTPP for officials, civil servants, employees, and workers at agencies and units. The content shall focus on affected subjects such as business associations, cooperatives, production facilities, business communities, especially small and medium enterprises.
The plan required sectors and localities to focus on training for cadres and civil servants of state management agencies in a number of areas such as: Investment, finance, customs services, trade defense, intellectual property, agriculture, labor, environment and other specific commitments that directly related to CPTPP and FTAs of Vietnam; strengthen the capacity of specialized agencies for providing information on trade and investment to help enterprises timely grasp information, forecast demands of domestic market, and plan for responses to the competition of imported goods; continue to review and perfect legal documents issued by the central and local authorities to promptly advise competent agencies to amend, supplement, or abolish documents with content that does not conform to provisions of CPTPP.
In addition, departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts, towns, and city shall focus on implementing effectively, properly targets of Provincial Party's breakthrough programs and Provincial People's Committee's plans with specific tasks such as: Improving Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI), improving the quality of human resources, environment business to attract investments in high-tech projects, support entrepreneurship ecosystem, and innovation. At the same time, sectors and localities shall continue to carry out measures to restructure the industry, strengthen the application of science - high technology and industry 4.0 in production; continue to implement synchronously and effectively social security and environmental protection policies to ensure economic growth, political stability and sustainable development...
