Provincial People's Committee promulgated a plan to stabilize essential commodity market in 2019 in Binh Duong province. Accordingly, the province store essential commodities and implement price stabilization from 26 Nov 2018, in which focus on the period of before, during and after Lunar New Year 2019 (from 1 Dec 2018 to 31 Mar 2019); then continue in the remaining months of 2019.
The essential commodities for the people in 2019 include: Food (rice ...), processed foods (sugar, milk, MSG, cooking oil, sauces, beverages, confectioneries….), fresh food (meat, chicken eggs, duck eggs, vegetables, fruits ...), petrol and medicines... with a total value of goods of VND2,074 billion (excluding petrol, medicines), in which the period of before, during and after Lunar New Year Festival was VND1,263.5 billion. There are 12 enterprises participating in this plan.
Provincial Department of Health directs pharmacies in hospitals in districts, towns and city to provide common medicines (domestically produced medicines) and organize the sale of medicines at commune / ward medical centers with prescribed retail prices, and hang banners of market stabilization at drug stores. Businesses organize the sale of stabilized goods at existing supermarkets. In addition, Coopmart 1 and 2 supermarkets, Aeon Citimart Supermarket, Lotte Mart Supermarket and Vinmart My Phuoc Supermarket carry out mobile sales at traditional markets, industrial zones, rural areas and northern districts of the province. Selling time is from 2 - 3 days/sale; items must be diversified. Participating businesses must organize propagation and hang banners at selling locations for people to know and buy goods.
Department of Industry and Trade cooperate with People's Committees of districts, towns and city to organize Happy market-days of the program Bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas and industrial zones. The program must associate with the sale of stabilized products; Goods must ensure good quality and reasonable prices, combine with wholesome entertainment programs to serve consumers and visitors. Each market-day has the participation of at least 20 - 25 businesses with 40 to 45 booths including supermarkets, shopping centers, enterprises in and outside the province...
