On September 8, at Binh Duong Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, Mai Hung Dung, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, worked with representatives of the world’s Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) to discuss the planning of Binh Duong province for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.
At the meeting, representatives of Department of Planning and Investment, and consultants presented the purpose, meaning and planning of Binh Duong province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, in which the approach, the link with Ho Chi Minh City region, bottlenecks and challenges in the growth model, transport infrastructure, environment were highlighted. John Jung, ICF co-founder, highly appreciated the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050, and believed that the planning has taken steps to continue, exploit the potential and strengths of the locality, is associated with the orientation towards Binh Duong smart city. In addition, the plan contributes to clearly shaping the new development step of Binh Duong along with six criteria proposed by ICF. Mr. Mai Hung Dung said that the delegates' comments were recorded and will be adjusted by the province and the consultants, in order to soon have the highest quality planning, as a basis for state management, suitable for the new development stage of the province.
