Early March 18, provincial Real Estate Association (REA) held its first congress for the 2017-2022 tenure, in attendance of Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

Provincial REA was established on December 29, 2016 under the Decision No.3659/QD-UBND. As of now, it has had a total of 116 members. The congress put forward operational orientations of the association for the 2017-2022 tenure, including mobilizing real estate businesses to take part in the association, striving to have at least 50% of real estate businesses in the province being members of the association; making law dissemination among members; boosting cooperation in and out of the association…
The congress also elected an executive board of the association for the 2017-2022 tenure with 12 members. Tran Khac Thach, member of the Executive Board of Vietnam Real Estate Association was nominated as Chairman of the association.
Addressing the congress, Mr.Liem emphasized that provincial REA must well realize its function as a bridge between real estate businesses and State agencies. The association also needs to propaganda and guide real estate businesses to comply with regulations on real estate in line with the province’s overall plan on socio-economic development.
