The provincial exhibition, fair of socio-economic achievements was one activity to celebrate the 10th Provincial Party Congress (2015-2020 tenure). The exhibition took place in 6 days and left good impressions to people in and outside the province.
Right from the opening day (Oct 25th), the exhibition – fair attracted a lot of visitors. According to the organizers, there were 25,000 people to visit on the opening day. They were pleased with the organization, arrangement of booths in the exhibition area and the fair. Especially, the socio-economic achievement exhibition of agencies, localities had 150 well-decorated booths. Nguyen Van Tam, Director of Ben Cat town Culture and Information – Sports Centre, said right from the planning stage, town leaders directed the organization of booths in order to introduce adequately achievements of the town in 5 years (2010-2015). Therefore, the booth of Ben Cat town was liked by most visitors, due to many beautiful photos and artifacts.

Visiting the exhibition area, Duong The Thanh living in Thoi Hoa ward, Ben Cat town said that the exhibition was carefully prepared. The exhibition space was carefully, logically, beautifully designed in order to give comfortableness to visitors. The booths brought visitors an overview of provincial development process and historic milestones of Binh Duong Provincial Party Congresses.
Coming to the fair area, there were 150 enterprises displayed, sold their products. Many businesses companies from Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ben Tre, Bac Lieu... introduced their specialties at the fair. Namely, Ba Ria - Vung Tau brought their delicious fish sauce Anh Phuong to the fair, Ben Tre booth introduced coconut products, Bac Lieu sold items woven from papyrus... In addition, with the support of Departments of Industry and Trade from HCMC, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, enterprises of provinces introduced many good products with reasonable price to people, especially workers. Trinh Ngoc Le, worker of Hoya Lens Company (VSIP II), said: “The exhibition happened at weekend, thus workers had time to go shopping and have fun. Everybody was happy and hoped for many fairs like this, especially Vietnamese high-quality good’s fair for workers”.
The exhibition – fair also absorbed visitors, because of cultural performances every night. Besides, the organizers also arranged a children's play area, dining area for visitors. Ha The Dung, who was in charge of organizing the fair, said that all products sold at the fair had been examined. During 6 days of the exhibition, inspection teams regularly checked to eliminate promptly low-quality goods. Security and order at the exhibition was also guaranteed.
Le Huu Phuoc, Director of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the exhibition – fair gained successes beyond expectations. These results came from the careful preparation, well planning, propaganda and advertisement for the event. Mr. Phuoc stressed, the exhibition – fair had outlined labor achievements of provincial Party, government, people. This was also an opportunity for businesses in and outside the province to introduce products, expand markets, exchange experiences, transfer technologies…
People felt excited and meaningful when coming to Binh Duong 5-year’s Socio-economic Achievements Exhibition – Fair. The attention of delegates, officials, employees, and majority people during the event proved the success of the exhibition, thereby contributing to the overall success of Provincial Party Congress.
