The Fund has so far considered and provided more than 9,000 farmers with more than VND216billion to carry out 479 projects on cultivation, animal husbandry and agricultural services. Along with training courses on sci-tech transfer, the Fund has upheld each locality’s advantages, creating stable jobs for farmers, improving their lives and incomes, step by step forming up goods production areas under the valuable linkage chain.
Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Farmers ‘Association said that provincial Farmers ‘Associations at all levels have implemented the fund in accordance with the process. Provincial Farmers ‘Association has also instructed its branches to sort out suitable models to foster projects based on members ‘real demand while strengthening control over the implementation of the fund as stipulated.
Practical, timely realization
Phu Giao is an agricultural district with the lives of people facing difficulties. The district’s Farmers ‘Association has taken effective solutions in developing and managing the Fund. So far, the district’s Fund has amounted to more than VND21billion. The total outstanding loans of each local Farmers ‘Association branch is around VND1.8billion.
Trinh Duc Dung, Chairman of Phu Giao district’s Farmers ‘Association said that the Fund has helped needy households to develop their production models. Particularly, the Fund has considered and provided more than 900 households with loans to carry out 50 projects on animal husbandry and cultivation…, contributing to creating jobs for thousands of the local laborers. The Fund has also contributed to promoting the local urban and hi-tech agricultural process, fostering collective economic models.
Nguyen Thi Huyen Tram, Vice-Chairwoman of Bau Bang district’s Farmers ‘Association said that the Fund has been managed and used effectively, thereby facilitating many farming households’production models, actively contributing to the local poverty reduction and employment settlement.
